Spill About Your L-O-V-E

On this sunny Wednesday morning, I saw this cute little link-up and thought I'd join in!

Spill About Your L-O-V-E

{1} Describe your dating life prior to finding your husband/boyfriend/fiance.

Prior to meeting my fiance Cody, my dating life was pretty much non-existent. I had been in a relationship for three years, which lasted much longer than it should have. It was a high school relationship that tried to transition into our first year of college. It failed. [Luckily :)]

{2} Describe your husband/boyfriend/fiance in one word. How would he describe you in one word?
How Cody would describe me...
Compassionate
He knows how much I love my friends and family. I truly care about their well-being and when something isn't right I'm truly bothered. And animals - I have a bigger heart with animals than people sometimes! Like the baby bird our dogs, Hank and Maci, tried to eat in the backyard. I ALMOST DIED.
How I would describe Cody...
Southern.
I love that about him! He can be such a southern gentleman. [when he wants to be :) ] I love that he comes from such a sweet and loving family. He's polite and has manners. He is easy to talk to, and loves talking to people. And I can't forget about those cowboy boots and southern accent!
My country themed Graduation party.

{3} You had a really silly fight. Embarrassing silly. What was it about?
Ok. When I wake up, you normally don't want to touch me with a ten-foot pole. I am not a morning person. Cody is the opposite. He's up bright and early, with a big ole smile on his face to accompany his perky morning personality. Not only does he want to have full on conversations at sunrise, but cuddle and show affection as well.
He tried to cuddle with me one morning and I was NOT nice about it. AT ALL. I was tired. I was grumpy. I was mean. It started a fight that lasted all day! Over cuddling! By the next day we realized just how stupid and silly it was.

{4} In three sentences (and only three!), describe where you both hope to be in 5 years.
In five years, we will be happily married, contrary to how far away our wedding date feels. We hope to own our own house, in a place we both love. We hope to have started a family by then too!
{5} Tell us something about your husband/boyfriend/fiance we wouldn't know from reading your blog.
He sleeps with a life size batman every night.
Don't tell him I told y'all.
I will deny it.

{6} What's one thing you never thought you'd do in front of your husband/boyfriend/fiance, but you did?
I'm about to gross y'all out.
Pee.
Never did I ever think I would feel that comfortable with somebody and him with me.
Now it's second nature.

Now it's your turn! Link-up with A.Liz Adventures to Spill Your L-O-V-E.

  2. Found you through the link up and we have a lot in common! My husband and I dated 7 years before he proposed and he chose my word as compassionate as well - all because I am a crazy animal lover!! Your newest follower!
