Weekend Shenanigans: A Whole Bunch of Nothing

Grrr.
Monday again.
This girl is counting down the days until Thanksgiving Break.
10 school days to be exact.

This past weekend was one of relaxation and laziness.
I did a whole bunch of nothing.
And I was completely okay with that.

Friday, Ashley asked me to go to Hobby Lobby with her after work.
Never. Will I ever. Turn down Hobby Lobby.
It's the happiest place on earth.
Not Disney World.

Surprisingly, I only left the store with thread to sow up a hole in a chair in our living room.
I totally used my 40% coupon on $2.99 thread.
Don't hate.

We met the guys at Taco Mac.
I ate way more than I needed to.
And we called it a night.

Saturday, Cody and I watched the Georgia game against Appalachian State.
As much as I love going to the Homecoming game, I felt okay watching it at home.
I'm pretty sure I've been fighting off a cold this week, and I felt a little icky on Saturday.
The Dawgs won big, and some of our younger players were even able to play.
It gave us Dawg fans a hopeful glimpse into the future since Aaron Murray is a senior.

Final score - Georgia: 45 App. St. 6
Go Dawgs!

We spent the rest of the day boiling peanuts in the crockpot, making cookies and watching the Alabama/LSU game.

Sunday, Cody had to work the Falcon's game against Seattle, so I was home alone with the pups. I made a trip to Target [the second happiest place on earth] and to TJ Maxx.
I spent the rest of my day on the couch, watching the Falcons, Grease and of course the NASCAR race.

I love me some NASCAR, and especially some #48.
The pups and me cheered JJ onto a 3rd place finish and a 28 point lead in the championship race. Hoping for a 6th championship next Sunday. :)

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Five more days until the next!
