The Gulf | Part Four

After our morning at the beach, we headed to Seaside.
If you haven't been to Seaside, you're honestly missing out.
The sweet little beach town is so gorgeous, and full of picture opportunities.
And the restaurants seem to be the jewel of the town.

There are so many different places to eat - I think you could spend a whole week just exploring the different places to grab food and hang out. We had heard of a lot of great places to eat, but the ones that we really wanted to try were the food trucks in the Airstream District. And let me tell you - they most certainly did NOT disappoint. It was hard to choose because everything sounded so yummy. So, my sister and I put together a genius pact to both get something at different airstreams, and just split both. Honestly, it was the way to go. She grabbed a pimento cheese grilled cheese from The Melt Down on 30A, and I grabbed BBQ nachos from Barefoot BBQ. It was more food than we could even stomach, but totally worth the trip and greasy fingers.

Afterwards, we walked around the town - exploring different little shops. Honestly, we weren't super impressed with the shops, but did stumble upon a beautiful park just behind the amphitheater - Ruskin Place. A quiet little park surrounded by giant oak trees, boutiques, homes, and art galleries. It was much quieter than the hustle and bustle right on 30A.

After our trip through Seaside, we headed back down to our condo and a visit to the beach before the storm hit later that evening. By the time we made it back to the beach, the red flags were up warning swimmers to stay out. We were really thankful we decided to at least go that morning, before all of the wind and huge waves took over the beach. Luckily, we at least got to play in the sand a bit when we weren't pushing our hair out of our eyes from all the wind and sand. And also grabbed a couple of family pictures since we didn't know if we would be able to make it back to to the beach before headed back home on Thursday. Prepare for a complete photo dump. #givemeallthebeachpictures
