Oh, Christmas Tree

Before the start of December, we snuck away to a local Christmas tree farm to snag our tree with Cody's cousin and her sweet family.

We were so glad to have been invited and really loved it as soon as we got there. We drive by it all the time, but had never been before. They have rows and rows of trees you can cut down yourself, farm animals for the little ones, a cute little store, and fresh Fraser Firs from North Carolina - which we always love. Harper was especially fond of the animals - "Cow! Cow! Cow Mama!" was on repeat for a good five minutes. If it wasn't for mini candy canes as bribery, we would still be standing at the cows and goats probably.

We definitely plan on going back - and of course, seeing the cows. :)

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was spent at my sister's apartment.
We enjoyed time together and lots, and lots, and lots of yummy, delicious food.
Harper was a complete HAM - and a little turkey every now and then. She literally ate nothing - girlfriend needs to understand the basis of Thanksgiving a little bit better if you ask me.
Overall, it was a good one.

Glory, Glory | Georgia vs. Kentucky

We sure do love our Dawgs, and couldn't believe it took us all season to make it to a game.
We live so close to Athens, do a lot of our shopping there, but managing to get to a game was a tough task. This season has been nothing short of incredible, and have loved watching every. single. game. This team is something special, and loved that we got to see the seniors last home game.

We had such a fun day tailgating, the weather could not have been more perfect for the end of November, and the Dawgs won so I'd say it was a pretty good day. :)

Jaemor Farms

One of our annual fall traditions is going to Jaemor Farms in Alto. Cody and I started this tradition back when we were dating, and have carried it on just about every year. In the fall, they have a pick your own pumpkin patch, plenty of already picked pumpkins, corn maze, several games and activities for kids, and a farmer's market right on top of the hill. We've always loved going, but it seems even more fun with our little munchkin in tow.

This year, Cody's parents joined us for the fun. We were really excited that Harper was older and could have done more of the activities, but girlfriend didn't nap well, and was just on her own agenda that day. She did walk into the petting zoo, and checked out the goats and cows. But skipped out on the train ride. She did however, wave at the hay ride people every. single. time. they went by and every. single. time. the whole ride full of people waved back. I would say she was probably the highlight of their tour. :)

She did tear up the pumpkin patch - keeping us on our toes trying to keep up with her. Needless to say, we got our exercise in that day!
