Bumpdate || Fourteen - Fifteen

With this bumpdate, I'm finally all caught up and can actually say that today, I'm officially 15 weeks! So bumpdates won't be so abundant, and I'm thinking I'll be posting on Thursdays since that's my rollover day each week.

How far along: 14 weeks

Due Date: December 17, 2015

Baby is the size of: A lemon - even though I think our little baby is probably a little bigger each week since it's growing ahead of schedule.

Symptoms: Headaches! I kinda refuse to take medicine unless it's absolutely necessary, so I'm fighting through these headaches without it. Hips and lower back were very sore driving up to Virginia on Saturday. Tough ride! A few evenings of nausea, which I thought was gone... and indigestion after I eat dinner.

Gender: I'm thinking that there's no way this baby is a girl, but we'll find out for sure on July 5th!

Name: We're kinda set on the final names for a girl or boy. Can't wait to announce in July!

Movement: I had a headache and was feeling nauseous, so I laid down to take a nap. Except I couldn't fall asleep because it felt like a rock was rolling around in my stomach! Not sure if it was baby having a dance party, but I'll pretend it was!

Nursery: Started a boy and girl nursery Pinterest board if that counts!

Maternity Clothes: I need to get a belly band so I can wear pants. The hair tie trick worked, but was still snug. I'll probably invest in some once school gets started back.

Sleep: Sleeping great on vacation!

Best Moment This Week: Spending a week vacation with my hubby!

Missing Anything: Sub sandwiches - so bad!

Cravings/Aversions: Pasta salad - of any kind will do.

Health/Exercise: Not officially exercising on vacation, but we sure have walked a lot!

Mood: Very moody, even when I don't mean to be. Easily annoyed - these hormones are killing me. Trying my best to be patient these days.

Husband: SO PATIENT! He knows when I'm getting irritated, and tries to talk me through everything.

Looking Forward To: Our gender reveal party in a couple weeks. :)

How far along: 15 weeks

Due Date: December 17, 2015

Baby is the size of: An orange - about 4 inches from crown to rump!

Symptoms: So. many. headaches. They can get pretty tough, but I've been fighting through them. Stuffy nose morning and night mostly. For some reason, I've been feeling pretty nauseous again in the afternoons. I thought this was gone 2nd trimester! Getting light headed and having to sit down - apparently you get less blood to your brain while your pregnant cause the dizzy, light-headed feeling.

Gender: I'm still on team boy, but we find out for sure next weekend if everything goes to plan!

Name: We think we have it down for boy and girl, but won't say anything until we know what we're having!

Movement: Baby is moving all around these days, but aside from my possible baby dance party at 14 weeks, I haven't felt anything since. Hoping to feel flutters soon!

Nursery: Looking at ideas for both! No progress yet.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet - Nike shorts still working for me during the week and dresses and linen shorts on the weekends.

Sleep: No complaints - just the potty breaks in the morning hours.

Best Moment This Week: Not a big moment this week, but happy and a little stressed to be planning our gender reveal.

Missing Anything: Still sandwiches, but other than that, not much.

Cravings/Aversions: I've realized once I eat something that I've been craving, I don't want it anymore and it actually sounds terrible. Like the pasta salad I made for the week, ate one day's worth, and now it's sitting in my fridge untouched. Oops.

Health/Exercise: Walking on the treadmill as much as possible! Eating pretty well too.

Mood: Pretty much living on the hot mess express these days with mood swings.

Husband: Very patient with my mood swings and very understanding!

Looking Forward To: We have a doctor's appointment next Thursday to hear the heartbeat and then our gender determination ultrasound next Friday!

Bumpdate || Eleven - Thirteen

How far along: 11 weeks

Due Date: December 17, 2015

Baby is the size of: A cute little lime.

Symptoms: Nauseous occasionally, after eating normally. Still mostly in the afternoons and evenings. Waking up at night to potty. I felt like I was getting overheated and got really light headed during our trip to Talladega for Cody to do the racing experience. Once I got cooled down and had a drink, I was fine.

Gender: Still thinking boy over here! Cody says girl!

Name: Still deciding and debating between a couple.

Movement: I know baby is wiggling around, but mama isn't feeling it yet.

Nursery: No progress yet and not many plans to start until we know the gender.

Maternity Clothes: Pants are snug. Feeling like my Nike shorts are what I'll be living in for the summer.

Sleep: Getting hot at night. Sleeping mostly good until I wake up to use the bathroom.

Best Moment This Week: Telling my friend Brittany about our little peanut! And telling my grandfather also!

Missing Anything: Subs. Hair coloring. Subs. Hair coloring.

Cravings/Aversions: Craving steak and baked potatoes - sour cream, bacon, cheese, the whole nine yards. Not crazy about chicken...

Health/Exercise: Walking on the treadmill during the week to fit in some exercise.

Mood: Relieved about summer vacation! Probably more moody than I realize sometimes.

Husband: Very sweet and loving. Still holding onto baby being girl despite most everybody thinking boy.

Looking Forward To: Our 12 week ultrasound next Friday! Can't wait to see how baby has grown in two weeks!

How far along: 12 weeks

Due Date: December 17, 2015

Baby is the size of: A plum - baby is actually measuring 5 days ahead!

Symptoms: I don't think this is really a symptom, but my stomach gets so much bigger after I eat - hence the picture above! Nausea seems to be winding down a bit, but a stuffy nose is taking it's place in the mornings and evenings.

Gender: I didn't have as strong of a gut feeling after our 12 week ultrasound, but I'm still leaning towards boy.

Name: Not decided completely. Narrowed down.

Movement: Our last ultrasound at 10 weeks, baby was such a wiggle worm! Baby was a lot more calm during the 12 weeks ultrasound.

Nursery: No progress yet!

Maternity Clothes: No maternity clothes yet, but I did buy linen stretchy shorts from Old Navy to make it through the summer. I don't know why anybody would want buttons and zippers after wearing these babies.

Sleep: Mostly good - potty breaks, of course.

Best Moment This Week: Once we had our ultrasound on Friday and everything still looks perfect, we decided it would be a great time to tell the world about our little secret! And we couldn't have thought of a more special day than our anniversary to do it!

Missing Anything: The same. Subs. Hair colored.

Cravings/Aversions: Salads and pasta.

Health/Exercise: Walking on the treadmill as much as possible.

Mood: So relieved and happy to finally announce our secret to the world!

Husband: Sweet as can be! Made our anniversary very special with our mountain picnic and sweet baby announcement posts on Instagram.

Looking Forward To: Getting my hair colored next week! Yahoo!

How far along: 13 weeks

Due Date: December 17, 2015

Baby is the size of: A sweet Georgia peach!

Symptoms: A stuffy nose - especially in the morning and night. Sore chest still. Feeling more energized, but tired quickly in the evenings.

Gender: We scheduled our gender determination ultrasound for July 3rd! So our gender reveal party is scheduled for the 5th! We're so excited to finally find out if we're having a little girl or a little boy!

Name: We've got it pretty much figured out, but waiting of course to find out what we're having to announce!

Movement: No movements yet!

Nursery: Dreaming of ideas, but no decisions yet!

Maternity Clothes: Not yet. Just rocking those stretchy linen shorts from Old Navy, Nike shorts and t-shirts. So fashionable.

Sleep: Pretty good - waking up early for potty breaks.

Best Moment This Week: Getting my hair colored finally!!

Missing Anything: Sub sandwiches!

Cravings/Aversions: Pasta & guacamole.

Health/Exercise: Treadmilling as much as I can.

Mood: Very moody here recently. Cody is sweet enough to stay calm with me.

Husband: Sweet, patient and understanding. Very helpful when needed!

Looking Forward To: Our vacation to Maryland/Delaware next week!

Headed North || Summer Vacation || Part Two

After relaxing at the beach and exploring parts of Delaware on Monday, Tuesday was more of a relaxed day. We visited Cody's relatives in the evenings, but spent the morning at the beach, where it was ridiculously hot and the water actually felt good! Somehow I managed to get obnoxiously sunburned on my shoulders and chest so the beach by Wednesday didn't sound like the best idea! So instead of wasting the day away, Cody and I decided to hit the boardwalk in Ocean City for lunch and some one-on-one time.

We ended up at 'Guidos Burritos' for lunch, which seemed only fitting because I stereotyped the Ocean City boardwalk to be like the one on Jersey Shore. Needless to say, the burritos and nachos were delicious, so it left no room for any fried oreos, ice cream or funnel cakes for this pregnant lady. Boo!

By Thursday, the weather cooled down a lot and a few showers rolled in (plus my sunburn was still burning up my shoulders...), so instead of enjoying the beach, Cody and I headed back to Assateague Island to explore and hopefully spot some wild horses!

And the only horse we really got to see close up was this little loner - standing in the parking lot...

Friday it was time to head back down south, and this time we were planning on driving the entire way home instead of stopping halfway like we did on the way up. Cody and I had every intention before we left to go sight-seeing down the coast on the way back... but pregnancy got the best of me and my hips, so getting home as fast as possible was the best choice at that point!

We did though make a pit stop at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to check it out and stretch our legs. Part of the bridge goes under water which is really cool - unless you're Cody and in that case, it just freaks you out. :)

Going up there, we really didn't know what to expect, but all his relatives were so sweet and welcoming! We can't wait to go back up there again, but with a little peanut tagging along next time!

in case you missed part one
