Whew! It's Friday!
Wasn't it just yesterday I was writing my last Five on Friday post?
My summer has flown by and continues to do so no matter how much I beg for it not to.
July is going to be a busy month for me, preparing to start back to school and attending informational orientations for the county. What fun.
I really don't know how normal people work without summer's off.
My hat's off to y'all.
But here we go with this week's Five on Friday thanks to Darci over at The Good Life. :)
ONE
Today is my sweet little darlin's birthday!
I really can't believe she turns three today! I shared Maci's story here a few weeks ago, and it seems like just the other day she was just a little peanut. Her life is flashing before my eyes, and I can't wait to celebrate many more birthdays with my Moo!
TWO
I wasn't sure if Cody really cared to read my blog or not, even though I always asked him if he did. But yesterday he told me he has Peach State of Mind on the home screen of his phone so he can read it at his convenience! Talk about making me a happy girl!
I'm glad to know you care honey. :)
THREE
I finally asked my last girl to be my bridesmaid! This one was pretty special because I was asking my sister if she would be my Maid of Honor! She said she was busy June 7, 2014, but...
She found time to squeeze my wedding into her busy schedule and said YES! ;)
Although she knew it was coming eventually, I think she liked her gift a lot.
So the secret's out of the bag I guess! I used scrapbooks to ask my girls to be bridesmaids in our wedding next summer. They all turned out fabulous I believe.
More details coming soon!
FOUR
With my four ladies confirmed as bridesmaids, I still have one very important young lady to ask to be apart of mine and Cody's special day.
That little cupcake cutie will hopefully say yes when I ask her on Saturday.
Since our July 4th was pretty rainy, I put together her "Will You Be Our Flower Girl?" basket that morning.
One princess cupcake away from being complete!
FIVE
Although our July 4th fireworks were cancelled due to the icky rain we had all day, we still made the best of it and celebrated with my family.
We needed something to catch on fire to celebrate America's birthday, so my mom picked up some Weenie Works. (aka. sparklers on steroids.)
And then it of course started to rain again... But we continued.
Luckily, the fireworks show we were going to watch last night was rescheduled for Saturday night. So if doesn't rain Saturday (crossing our fingers), we'll get to carry on the Fourth festivities through the weekend!
Have a great weekend y'all!
I love the scrapbook idea! That's really creative.
