Celebrating the Red, White & Blue | July 4th Recap |
Happy Monday y'all!
I hope everyone had a fantastic July 4th, celebrating our country and freedom with lots of family and friends.
Here's how our holiday went down...
Normally for July 4th we head over to my grandparents' house and watch the church up the street put on an incredible fireworks show. This year, the show was canceled for whatever reason, so we had to get a little creative.
We all pitched in some money, so some of the guys could head to South Carolina for some fireworks, since you can't buy them in Georgia. We all got together later that afternoon for lots of food, cornhole and (too many for some...) drinks. By the time the sun went down, the show began, and we caused a little bit of a riot in the cul-de-sac.
I'll let the five hundred million pictures do the talking...
Can you be any more adorable?! Looks like you had a blast this weekend :-) And can we talk about that last picture with the little girl and arm-on-hip? She's got the pose down PAT!
This looks like so much fun! Anytime you post pictures of your family get togethers it looks like you all have such a good time together and it makes me want to come over and join ya! Too bad I'm 3000 miles away ;)
You looked completely gorgeous! And it looks like you guys had a great time too. I'm so surprised, thought you were allowed to have fancy fireworks down south?! Funny how you guys had to go to another state to get your fireworks, we have to do that in California too haha! Nevada is the place to go ;)
I'm sure your creative firework show was better than the one our town put on...it was not good! We used to not be able to by fireworks in AZ either, but they made it legal a year or two ago. I don't know why since we are so dry and have so many fire! Love the pics, especially your top. So cute!
