| Our Wedding | Pre-Ceremony
I've totally been slacking on my wedding posts.
Not because I'm not COMPLETELY in LOVE with my wedding pictures, but more on the side of life is ridiculously crazy right now and any chance I get to relax with my husband and fur babies is taken advantage of. So please excuse the randomness of these posts. :) I'll be playing catch up this week to make up for it!
After the pre-wedding pictures were done for Cody and I, it was just time to wait.
I was already in my dress from my pictures with my bridesmaids, so I sat down and "relaxed" as best as I could in a dress that I could hardly breath in, while family and friends waited patiently along.
Cody and I wanted to write letters to each other before we locked eyes at the alter. I procrastinated (go figure) and wrote mine during the wait. I wished I would have wrote it earlier that day, only because the closer it got to wedding time, the more interruptions there were. So as much as I put my heart into my letter, Cody's letter of course, blew me away and brought tears to my heavily mascara-ed eyes. It was beautiful.
During the wait, my worst fear happened.
Rain.
Rain 30 minutes before I was due to walk down the isle.
Not a downpour thunderstorm, but a pretty good shower.
Luckily, my planner, Terri, was a genius because she intentionally didn't put things out incase it did rain. Surprisingly, I wasn't as near freaked out by it as I thought I would be. I was reassured several times it was a quick passing shower luckily, and there was nothing else to come. Thank goodness since it was a COMPLETE outdoor wedding. :)
Our friends and family stuck it out while the rain passed and eventually, everything dried out in miracle time.
After some last minute primping, it was finally the time we had all been waiting for...
Showtime!
