It's Friday y'all!
So that means - Five on Friday with Christina at Carolina Charm and the rest of the ladies!
One
WE GOT OUR ENGAGEMENT PICTURES!
Here's a quick preview of what you'll see next week on the blog :)
Two
My sweet little student who was sick is doing MUCH better.
He will be returning to school the Monday after Thanksgiving Break.
As a class, we made him cards and according to his mom, they made him feel so much better!
Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers!
Three
Our Save the Dates are created and sent off to be printed!
They're very simple, but I love them.
We chose to go with postcards for a couple reasons. For one, they're cheaper. I don't have to deal with stuffing envelopes. [I'll save that joyous event for our actual wedding invitations] And most people are going to throw them away anyway.
So whenever I get them, I will definitely be sharing them with all of y'all!
This was our inspiration:
Four
Without going into much detail just yet, Cody and I [and my mom now] have been dealing with a nightmare regarding my engagement ring. After a few calls to the jewelry store's corporate office, we're getting closer to figuring out a solution. I find out today if everything is going to work out in our favor. Let's hope so!
Five
Cody and I are heading to Athens this weekend for the Georgia vs. Kentucky game!
I planned on going to so many more games this year, but it obviously didn't work out like we hoped. But this is the last home game [ bye-bye Aaron Murray :( ], so we want to make sure we're there.
Go Dawgs!
Happy Friday!

ReplyDeletewhat a GORGEOUS sneak peek of a pic! can't wait to see more!!!!! we did post cards for our save the dates too :) great minds...! xx
ReplyDeleteMy engagement ring was a beauty. Once he proposed I went and got it resized because it was too big. The ring had two baguettes on the side that after re-sizing continued to fall out. I went and got it repaired 3x before I told them we were done and I ended up having to get a different ring all together :(
ReplyDeleteHope things work out for you!
I love those save the dates you picked out and I also love how they double as a Christmas card!

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see more of the engagement pictures! I love that checkered blanket. I couldn't watch the game but I was so sad to hear about what happened to Aaron Murray during the game-- poor guy, it's been such a tough season with injuries for the team!
